It’s really a thrill to hear and see the festival chorus perform and celebrate harmony in Silverton!

The Silverton Barbershop Music Festival, which has been going on for more than 25 years now, brings together singers from all over the Rocky Mountain District, but especially those from the Western Slope cities–Montrose Black Canyon Chorus, the Grand Junction Bookcliff Chorus, the Farmington Four Corners Harmony Chorus, and the Durango Narrow Gaugers Chorus.

The big public event of the weekend is a show at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug 4th, which features the Festival Chorus of about 75 singers, as well as area quartets and chapter choruses. Hear popular songs such as Sweet Adeline, Dream a Little Dream, and Battle Hymn of the Republic. There is no admission charge for this public show.
