Join Caldera Belly Dance for a festive holiday celebration! This fun event will feature family friendly dance performances, holiday shopping with talented crafters and artists, door prizes, light refreshments, and lots of holiday cheer! Saturday, December 10th, from 7 - 10 pm at the Kendall Mountain Community Center & Ski Area. Free and open to the public, though donations will gladly be accepted.

Come join the Annual Silverton Community Christmas Potluck sponsored by the Silverton Area Chamber of Commerce!

Please bring a salad, bread, side dish or dessert of your choice.  Decorate your table and enjoy each other for this informal community event! 

5pm potluck starts and it is at the Kendall Rec Area and Ski area lodge!  Any questions or to reserve a table in advance, please call the Silverton Visitor Center at 970 387-5654

1pm at the Christmas Tree on Greene st & 13th

Santa comes to the heart of downtown Silverton 1pm on Christmas eve to meet the kids and give out treats!  

He will be flying in around 12:45pm and at the Town Christmas Tree at 1pm on Greene st and 13th!

With the Weminuche Wilderness close by, Silverton is a recreational paradise in Winter for snowmobiling, skiing (downhill, extreme, heli, snowcat, cross country), sledding, ice skating, ice climbing, and ice fishing, and in Summer for rafting, backcountry touring, Jeeping (Jeep rentals and Jeep tours are available), ATV and OHV riding, fishing, hiking, biking, rafting, horseback riding, hunting, and camping.
