The 2014 theme is ”Silverton’s Wide World of Sports – Winter and Summer Family Fun.”

No camp fires are allowed; however, petroleum-fueled stoves are allowed.
NOTE – Fireworks are not allowed and those using them are subject to fines.
Many activities, including shopping, restaurants, attractions, and live music.

Fun Run
– 2K,5K & 10K at Memorial Park. Register online at www.silverton10k.com. Registrations on day of race at 6:30am. Race starts at 7:30am. Race fee of $25 includes t-shirt. Half of the proceeds going to Dillon’s Run in August and the other half to the Silverton Youth Center. For questions, call Julie at 760-846-5853.
Parade – 10:30am on main street followed by Fire Departments water fight

Entrants line up by 10am at the Courthouse at 15th and Greene. Must be 50% decorated.
International Rhubarb Festival following parade at Memorial Park with free Silverton Brass Band concert. Sponsored by Silverton’s Friends of the Library.
Delectable rhubarb treats can be topped off with ice cream if you desire. For sale only as long as they last, so don’t miss out. Proceeds benefit the Silverton Public Library.
Silverton Youth Center fundraiser – Benefits Dillon’s Run - Memorial Park (change in location) from 12 noon to 3pm. Hot dogs, chips & soda for $5. Also bake sale. Call Julie at 760-846-5853.
Ducky Derby – launch time is 2 pm at Memorial Park – a fun and unique event
Purchase your duck and ducky t-shirt ahead of time at the Visitors Center at 414 Greene Street, or purchase at the Chamber tent at Memorial Park during the festivities.
A Theatre Group production – 2 pm - Grand Imperial Hotel Theatre
Natalia’s Restaurant - Music throughout the day and evening – no cover
